Community

BiModal Design is an open-source framework maintained by Joel Goldfoot and released under the Apache 2.0 license. Everything happens in the open, on GitHub.

Straight answer on where to go: there is no chat server and no discussion forum yet. GitHub Issues is the real channel — it is where questions get answered, corrections get made, and the framework actually changes. If a forum makes sense later, it will be linked here.

What is especially welcome

  • Corrections with a primary source. If something on this site is wrong, an issue naming the specification, paper, or changelog that contradicts it is the fastest possible fix. Citations on this site are expected to be checkable, and several have been corrected exactly this way.
  • Benchmark and specification changes. Agent benchmarks and the protocols in Layer 5 move quickly. If a revision shipped and the site still describes the old surface, say so.
  • Real implementation reports. What broke when you applied FR-1 to your stack, what your agents actually did, where the guidance was too abstract to act on.

Contributing code or content

The framework repository takes pull requests. Content on this site mirrors the framework, so substantive changes usually belong upstream first — open an issue if you are unsure which repository a change belongs in.

Both repositories carry an AGENTS.md describing which files are safe to change and what conventions apply. It is written for automated contributors, but it is the clearest summary of the ground rules for anyone.
